Objectives of this role
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for new insurance contracts, including, life and annuities.
- Determine specific client needs by researching coverage options, cross-sales, referrals, and renewals
- Cultivate prospective new business through our proven system nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Determine specific client needs by researching current coverage and options, and grow and maintain business through product sales, cross-sales, referrals, your own circle of influence, and renewals
- Proactively contact leads and schedule appointments to recommend appropriate policies, quotes, and coverages.
- Learn to generate sales leads from various engagement initiatives within the training of a proven system.
- Obtain underwriting approval through completion of coverage application
- Once trained, meet or speak with clients daily, providing information about policies and answering questions related to coverage and premiums
- Expand professional skill set through workshops, networking events, and professional organizations
Required skills and qualifications
- Knowledge of various insurance coverages (ex: term, whole life, IUL, annuity)
- Passion for helping others
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in insurance or sales
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills
- Flexible schedule and being coachable
- Current licensure and good standing with relevant authorities
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
Life insurance license is preferred but NOT required, we have discounts to help you get your license during training.
