We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic training team as a Writer and Learning Enthusiast! As part of our Retail department, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of training programs that produce exceptional buyers and inventory planners. While our team excels in technical expertise for building interactive online solutions, we need your exceptional communication skills and ability to connect with people. You will have the opportunity to delve into complex content related to our tools and systems, devising innovative approaches to make learning them a breeze for others.
Key Projects: You will be involved in 23 upcoming projects, varying in duration from short assignments to a couple of days of work. It's an opportunity to make an impact quickly and contribute to a diverse range of initiatives.
In This Role, You Will
Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to define clear learning objectives.
Conduct needs analysis and evaluate existing documentation to determine the most suitable training approach and content for the intended audience.
Plan and craft engaging content for training programs using a variety of instructional and distribution methods (online, classroom, or blended) that best suit the material.
Create interactive and effective evaluation tools to measure the success of knowledge transfer.
Develop processes and templates to streamline the creation of new training materials and facilitate collaboration within our development cycle.
Assist in maintaining existing programs, ensuring the content remains up to date and relevant.
Your day-to-day interactions will involve working closely with subject matter experts, storyboarding content in Rise, and actively participating in discussions. You'll have the freedom to work independently, but collaboration and effective communication with stakeholders will be essential. This role offers full remote flexibility, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own space.

3-6 years of relevant experience in instructional design or a related field.

Alternatively, if you have experience as a technical writer and a background in any educational environment, along with a strong desire and aptitude to learn instructional design, you may be a great fit for our team.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
Articulate (2-4 years of experience) and familiarity with learning tools like Rise is highly desirable. Transitioning teachers with LinkedIn experience in using these tools are encouraged to apply.
