Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Adjunct Instructor of Computer Literacy to join our esteemed faculty. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students through online instruction in Computer Literacy courses. Collaborating with our Associate Dean of General Education, you'll help students gain essential digital literacy skills and build a strong foundation for their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities
Empower Learning: Collect assessment data to track student learning outcomes and create a supportive environment that fosters growth.
Foster Fair Evaluation: Implement a fair and equitable student evaluation system in alignment with the course syllabus, nurturing every student's potential.
Timely Engagement: Provide prompt feedback on graded assignments, demonstrating our commitment to our students' progress.
Professionalism: Project a positive and professional image, inspiring students to reach their full potential.
Requirements
Passionate Educator: A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field (instructional technology, computer science) or a master's degree in another field with at least 18 graduate-level semester hours in a relevant domain.
Online Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience in an online environment is preferred, showcasing your expertise in virtual education.
Effective Communicator: Proficiency in written and oral communication in English, empowering you to connect with students effectively.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, enabling you to navigate modern digital tools with ease.
