JD:

The Marketing Department is a tight-knit roll up your sleeves and do-it-together team. We are open-minded problem-solvers looking for a high performing, consistent, predictable, and efficient person to join our team.

Looking for:

· Creative skills that help to develop a cohesive brand presence across all touch points

· While we value both, for this role, we favor productivity and “getting things done” over creative and unique artistic perfection

· Utilization of brand colors, fonts, photography, layouts, and other design elements

· Ability to evaluate design choices critically, and to communicate those choices clearly

· An eye for detail and the ability to produce organized production files

· Portfolio showing work you’re most proud of – showcasing your creative, design and software skills

Working on:

· Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities

· Participating in various creative projects by offering input and sharing ideas

· Working to version out existing artwork for special events and community collateral needs

· Ongoing digital kiosk support and community site plan versioning to provide real-time customer-facing updates

· Ongoing digital asset coordination of product photography used across our websites

· Creating DIY “how-to” guides for our wall trim treatments

· Ongoing help with community plat graphic flyers and internal asset needs

· Other mission critical team contributions as assigned, such as: suggestions for our next team lunch, ideas on naming a new neighborhood, or the prefect meme to bring a little unexpected joy at work

Candidate characteristics:

· The ideal candidate has no difficulty maintaining a positive attitude; has demonstrated aptitude for learning; and takes initiative.

· Team Player – Working alone to produce great work is okay but you recognize that being a part of a collaborative team brings another level of greatness, not to mention some much-needed industry insight and understanding to the “why” of what you’re designing

· Positive Attitude – Design is subject to constructive criticism, so having a naturally upbeat disposition and friendly personality helps to make the necessary rounds of edits more enjoyable

· Flexibility – You can multi-task and enjoy being in a role where every day is a little different from the last

· Passion and Drive – You’re curious and work hard but have fun doing it because you’re doing what you love

· Accountability – You understand that deadlines are important and doing work you can be proud of within that timeframe is key

· Loyalty – You desire to be a part of something long-term and hope to grow within the position

Software you know:

· Canva and Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.

· Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
