Implementation Specialist - Payroll/Taxes

TEAM Software by WorkWave is currently looking for an Implementation Specialist with experience in a payroll/tax outsourcing environment with end to end processing, research, and payroll logic. In this roll the ideal candidate will have experience working for/with a payroll provider (EX: ADP), with an in depth understanding of wage payments, payroll tax and garnishments, as well as having demonstrated prior outstanding customer service skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Configure software for setup and administration of third party alliance services (ie. wage payments, garnishments, tax, etc)
• Applies structured change management processes and tools to support adoption of outsourced services during implementation
• Proactively seek out opportunities to advance knowledge and skills through continuing internal and external education and training
• Uses TEAM Software systems in delivering and executing recommended business practice solutions. Maintains expertise in system knowledge and application
• Provide training and coaching to other team members
• Develop and implement standards, procedures and protocols for third party payroll tax integration
• Act as a liaison between our clients and the outsourced payroll provider by assisting clients rectify tax discrepancies with state/local jurisdictions

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Strong organizational skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to be self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in developing departmental policies and procedures
• Multi-state payroll tax experience preferred
• 3 – 5 years prior implementation or project management
• 2-4 years experience in accounting, or tax law (preferred)
• Experience in an outsourcing environment with end to end processing, research, and payroll logic
• Ability to prioritize workload and work well under pressure
• Independent judgement in order to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload, recommends changes in office practices or procedures
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple complex projects with a high level of effectiveness
• 4+ years prior training, teaching, or related experience (Preferred)
• Positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are critical to success
• Expertise in strategic relationships with business partners and professional organizations
