Implementation Specialist - As Needed - Remote

Quad Med is seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our client Implementation Team! The Implementation Specialist's focus is to effectively ready a health center for medical operations, the facility needs to be set up, stocked, and physically verified. Performing these setup tasks accurately and in a timely manner will help streamline the appropriate clinical workflows and patient safety.

This is a project based position/as-needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs clinical training responsibilities as necessary
• Ensures preparation of needed materials – organizers, labels, forms, Kanban Cards, etc. for health center setup
• Participates in, and completes, additional special projects as directed
• Reviews health center for Accreditation and OSHA adherence; escalate as appropriate
• Assists with other duties during facility setup as instructed by the Implementation Project Manager and Operations Manager
• Develops medical supply order list matched appropriately with size and scope of health center
• Completes other tasks as assigned
• Place, setup, and baseline test medical equipment such as ophthalmoscope, otoscope, vital signs monitor, audiometer, etc.
• As directed by written setup guidelines, QuadMed clinical workflows and protocols, and instructions by the Implementation Project Manager and Operations Manager stock and organize the health center with received materials
• Ensures all supplies and organizational aides are stocked, placed, and set to follow the Kanban/6S processes
• Attends Health Center implementation meetings, as directed by Implementation Manager, in preparation for health center setup and openings
• Receives and inventories deliveries – both goods and services – to the health center

Qualification

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Medical or related field preferred

Experience

• Clinical background as a nurse or medical assistant preferred
• Experience in QuadMed workflows and clinics to demonstrate ability to replicate a standard set up

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must have intermediate computer skills in the Microsoft Office basics suite and basic knowledge of the clinical applications (EPIC, Clinical Tools, LabDaq, etc.)
• Medical terminology, medical equipment, and medical supplies as utilized in a family practice primary care setting
• Demonstrates understanding of, and ability to implement, LEAN methodologies, Accreditation standards, and OSHA guidelines within Health Centers
• Follow direction, work independently, and effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks
• Troubleshooting and logical thinking skills
• Multi-task, manage multiple priorities, and time allowed, to complete required work
• Must have broad knowledge of QuadMed scope of scope of service across departments – i.e. Lab, Medical, Condition Management , Physical Therapy, etc.
• Effectively communicate by in-person, email, and telephone channels
