Under the direction and supervision of the H-2B Practice Area Manager, oversees the general procession of cases to ensure relevant elements are collected, maintained, and organized.
Potential Start Date:
Late August 2023
Duties/Responsibilities
- Identifies and communicates opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Assists with final job order cross review.
- Assists with seasonality review.
- Conducts client calls (non-legal and check-in’s) to ensure goals and needs are being met.
- Assists with review of roundtable edits.
- Proactively identifies, communicates, and proposes solutions to issues with cases.
- Assists with & Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) review.
- Efficiently monitors and moves cases forward daily to ensure clients and Paralegals meet all required deadlines.
- Assists with performing electronic check of Department of Labor (DOL) applications.
- Reviews emails to clients.
- Responsible for ensuring Paralegals are on task.
- Assists with USCIS petition review.
- Assists with review of iCert docs.
- Superb time management skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to demonstrate support for and to help others successfully manage organizational change.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates professional conduct and presence, exercising tact, diplomacy and discretion in sensitive matters.
Education & Experience
- Prior immigration experience, specifically with the business immigration law process, is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Prior experience as a Paralegal preferred.
