- Perform mathematical calculations needed to accurately reflect support obligations.
- Travel occasionally when work is required outside of the office.
- Manage assigned caseload and demonstrate critical thinking skills required to complete complex tasks independently.
- Resolve problems/issues by using good listening and positive conflict resolution skills.
- Prioritize complex tasks and time to meet established performance goals and critical deadlines.
- Interact with employees and customers in a manner consistent with quality customer service delivery.
- Write clear, concise, and accurate letters that are grammatically correct.
- Adjust and adapt to work pressures, change or difficult situations impacting people or groups without unusual stress reactions.
- Read and comprehend complex instructions--including federal, state, and local laws, policy and procedures applicable to the Child Support Program--and apply them to child support casework.

- Position requires successful completion of a criminal background check to include FBI fingerprinting.
- Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes one year of full-time work with Child Support Services.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in any field, and experience equal to one year of full-time public contact work.
- A total of three years of education and/or full-time experience (as described in number one), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.
- Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes eighteen months of full-time public contact work.
