To achieve this, we're seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our team in Mohnton, PA.
As a Human Resources Operations Specialist at our company, you'll be an integral part of our HR operations, providing comprehensive and professional support to our management, employees, and business operations. You'll have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in HR policies and processes, including employee onboarding, record maintenance, payroll, engagement initiatives, internal communications, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Delight our employees with exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and fulfilling their needs.
Assist in administering payroll processes, HR policies, and employee onboarding procedures.
Collaborate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Maintain and accurately update employee data within our HRIS database (CentrallyHR).
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and employment laws.
Update policies and procedures as required.
Process payroll activities with precision, including compensation, bonuses, commissions, timesheets, and PTO requests.
Facilitate employee onboarding tasks such as creating profiles, coordinating paperwork completion, developing onboarding schedules, and maintaining open communication with new hires and hiring managers.
Conduct engaging in-person or virtual New Hire Orientations.
Contribute to the development and delivery of employee training programs.
Safeguard employee files, both electronic and paper, in line with Company and regulatory guidelines.
Uphold established Service Guidelines and Checklists, offering suggestions for improvements.
Generate reports to fulfill management requests for payroll and HR-related information.
Propose new procedures and policies to enhance the efficiency of the HR department and improve the overall employee experience.
Identify compelling topics and create the HR weekly newsletter.
Complete other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
Preferred certification: PHR or SHRM-CP.
Minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience in HR operational functions, including payroll administration, policy interpretation, employee onboarding, and process creation.
Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Solid understanding of HR federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to propose practical solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with employees at all levels.
Detail-oriented and resourceful mindset.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems, and adaptability to new technical systems.
Working Conditions
Flexible work schedule from our Mohnton office, with occasional remote work opportunities.
Monday through Friday work week, with occasional evening or weekend hours as required.
Consistent and reliable attendance is expected.
Primarily seated position, occasionally involving bending, squatting, kneeling, standing, walking, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
Ability to read, comprehend, write professionally, perform basic calculations, communicate verbally with all levels of the organization, and analyze data.
Regular use of computer, telephone, printer, and scanner.
