Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Fractional HR Manager for our growing staffing firm.


The candidate will work remotely from their home. This is a part time role requiring 5- 15 hours a week.


Location: Remote, US based

Job Type: Fractional/Consultant

Hours: Flexible

Compensation: $30-50 per hour depending on experience


Key Responsibilities may include:


  1. Managing payroll & benefits
  2. Updating and Implementing HR policies and procedures to provide employees and contractors with clear guidance and structure.
  3. Advise managers and supervisors of state and federal regulations and effective human resource practices with regard to employee and contractor issues.
  4. Counsels and guides managers on appropriate performance management measures and procedures.
  5. Coordinates new hire employee orientations and completes requisite paperwork for new staff members
  6. Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations concerning employment for employers and contractors.


Key Requirements:


  1. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, labor relations, organizational development, relevant work experience may be a substitute.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication
  3. Have experience serving in the HR department.
  4. Have experience serving professional services firm and/or startups.
  5. Have experience identifying and managing payroll, policies, and training resources
  6. Have experience managing multi-state and global workforce
  7. Experience with Gusto or other comparable HRIS systems
  8. Comfortable working in a fully remote environment and must have reliable internet access.
  9. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite
  10. Knowledge of a broad range of global human resources strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.

  11. Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
