Job Description

Our client, the US division of one of the largest companies in the world is seeking a Benefits Assistant for their NYC Corporate HR team.

Core duties will be to support the Chief People Officer (CPO) and the Benefits Team in administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, helping in the preparation of presentations, paying invoices, responding to phone calls and other administrative tasks associated with high level HR and employee benefit administration.

· Great customer service is an absolute must in the execution of your tasks.

· The ideal candidate will be friendly and welcoming and will be given the opportunity to be an important asset to the HR Division.

· This position will report to Benefits Sr. Manager and CPO

· Base salary of $65-77k with 5% bonus target


This is a hybrid role: 3 days onsite in midtown, 2 days remote.

Support CPO in a multitude of administrative tasks as required.

· Schedule and assist with HR meetings, creating the agenda and set up for virtual and in person meetings.

· Ensure that all benefits related invoices are paid on a timely basis.

· Track roster of employees on STD/FMLA/State Family Leave.

· Create packages for terminating employees.

· Update and enroll the dependents of expatriates in our benefits platform.

· Oversee the record-keeping of the Company Wellness Expenses.

· Assist management in communications about the benefit/HR programs.

· Assist employees and HR Management during the Open Enrollment period.

· Run reports as requested and access data from our benefits platform.

· Assist in annual upload of employee benefit mandated filings.

· Uphold the confidentiality of employee personal information.

· Assist employees with basic questions and direct them accordingly.

· Keep our Intranet site current and offer suggestions to improve it.


Required skills:


· Knowledge of HRIS and/or other HR-related systems;

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point

· At least 1 year of experience working in an HR-related role

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar field
