Job Summary: The Recruiting Coordinator/HR Admin will provide support to the HR department in various recruitment and administrative tasks, including but not limited to scheduling interviews, conducting phone screenings, tracking applicant data, and managing employee records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews for candidates with the hiring team and/or external recruiters.
- Conduct phone screenings and initial candidate assessments to determine fit for the position.
- Track and maintain applicant data and status updates in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and/or HRIS.
- Assist in posting job openings to various job boards and social media platforms.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and conducting new hire orientations.
- Manage and maintain employee records, including updating employee data and processing employee status changes.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to candidates and employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in a recruiting or HR administrative role.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and/or HR information systems (HRIS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone, and communicate with others in person, over the phone, and via email.
