About EquipmentShare
At EquipmentShare, we do things differently. We are more than a construction company and you are more than an employee. EquipmentShare, a nationwide construction technology and equipment solutions provider, is looking for skilled, curious hard-working problem solvers to add to our growing team. Despite our growing footprint, we run our company like a small business and put people first —which is why we offer a workplace like no other where team members collaborate, innovate and make meaningful contributions while accessing some incredible perks.
EquipmentShare is the fastest-growing, independently owned construction equipment rental company in the country. We serve dozens of markets across the U.S. and are on track to create a national footprint in every major market in the country in the next couple of years.
Our expansion and customer retention is a validation of strong contractor demand for the smart jobsite technology we’ve built into our rental fleet. And it’s just the beginning of our journey to establishing a global presence.
Your Opportunity to Grow With Us
The EquipmentShare team is a close-knit group of professionals who all share an interest in providing a service and product that improves our customer’s experience. Above all, we care about building something people want, and the only way to do that is by assembling a skilled, passionate and talented team. Our mission is to improve productivity and efficiency throughout the entire construction industry, and our people are how we make achieving that goal possible.
We’re seeking an HRIS Analyst who loves a challenge and wants the opportunity to grow with a fast-paced company. Industry competitors often have layers of tenured management that create barriers to career advancement. The opportunity for career growth is unparalleled at EquipmentShare, where you’ll find no shortage of challenging yet fulfilling work, chances to build new skills and supportive teammates who will push you to achieve your best.
The Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst will support and maintain the organization’s HRIS applications and modules. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
  • As directed, lead the implementation, upgrade, and daily maintenance of functionality within assigned systems including creating timelines and working in conjunction with functional end users as needed to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Identify communication needs based on changes to systems/operating procedures and work with the HRIS Administrator to develop and execute the communication plan.
  • Prepare modification specifications for approval by the HRIS Administrator. Provide ongoing support to end users during implementation and maintenance of new functionalities to include addressing training needs and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain knowledge of future system upgrades/releases and assess impact on current processes.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the assigned system(s) and understand functional gaps.
  • In the absence of the HRIS Administrator, serve as liaison between EquipmentShare and HRIS vendors or consultants.
  • Suggest business process changes to maximize value received from HRIS systems and minimize manual work outside the systems. Work with business process owners and Learning and Development team to document proposed and approved processes.
  • Maintain set up configuration in accordance with business system needs for the assigned HR Information Systems, and/or modules within systems and a deep understanding of Recruiting Technologies.
  • Develop testing scenarios and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of assigned systems in advance of scheduled releases and updates.
  • Assist in the identification of reporting needs of end users. May create or assist in creation of reports.
  • Solicit feedback from end users on system functionality. Research if end user concerns can be addressed with modification to existing system functionality.
  • Document resolutions.
About You
Our mission to change an entire industry is not easily achieved, so we only hire people who are inspired by the goal and up for the challenge. In turn, our employees have every opportunity to grow with us, achieve personal and professional success and enjoy making a tangible difference in an industry that’s long been resistant to change.
Before we bring on new team members, we take the time to really get to know them, their goals, strengths and natural talents, so we can place them in positions that fuel their passions, energy and motivation. We want our team members to experience a new level of fulfillment at work. Your only limitations are the ones you might place on yourself.
Skills & Qualifications
  • You are able to work independently and handle situations that involve multi-tasking and changing priorities.
  • We’re looking for an HRIS Analyst who is motivated to learn and has a positive attitude toward a growing business and technology infrastructure.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • You do well in fast-moving work environments and are a team player through and through.
Education And Experience
  • Preferred - Recent experience with an enterprise-level HRIS (ADP, Workday, UKG, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.) and applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse, iCims, Taleo, etc.)
  • At least three years of experience working recruiting technologies with HR Information Systems and a good understanding of how data is stored and flows across modules.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems or equivalent expertise in a business environment.
