Human Resource Associate/Payroll Specialist

Sagent Management is a growing and dynamic accounting and tax firm headquartered in Silicon Valley that offers accounting, tax, and management consulting services to publicly-

traded companies, privately-held businesses, and high-net-worth individuals.

Position Description

The Human Resource Associate/Payroll Specialist directly interacts with clients and firm management having responsibilities for our clients' HR and payroll requests.

Responsibilities

- Process payroll and retirement contributions per the client's payroll cycle

- Respond and advise clients regarding payroll, retirement, and health insurance

- Respond and address taxing authority notices relating to HR and payroll

- Process new hire documents (e.g., payroll, health insurance, retirement)

- Advise and implement HR policies (e.g., payroll, health insurance, retirement) for new clients

- Draft agreements (e.g., offer letters) and correspondence for clients

- Coordinate information and reporting with firm team members

Qualifications

- BA/BS degree

- Absolute attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple projects in a growing and fast paced environment

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to work independently
