HR Administrator

This Opportunity:


The HR Administrator is a fantastic role for recent graduates who focused on a human resources (HR) related curriculum academically and are looking to gain exposure in the world of professional services and government contracting. We are looking for this role to support our HR department. You will work holistically across the function as providing support for all HR-related queries from employees and additional stakeholders. Our ideal candidate has some experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

The position is based in Palladium’s Washington D.C. office.

Reporting and Supervision:


This role reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources (ARBP)


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in projects, such as, recognition events, engagement activities, employee communications, etc., partnering with the HR team
  • Proactively offer suggestions for process improvements, efficiency, and cost reductions
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Support the administration of the day-to-day operations of the HR function
  • Communicate to internal and external stakeholder with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Process employee requests and provide relevant information
  • Create personnel folders, file HR records, track completion of mandatory trainings or certifications, answer employee questions, enforce company employment-related policies and procedures, assist with annual open enrollment and mid-year insurance enrollments as needed
  • Perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained

  • Sound problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Demonstrated competence using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Continuously exhibits personal integrity and can maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to manage demanding workload, multi-task, assume diverse duties and tasks, accept challenges, take initiative, solve problems, and follow through on assignments
  • Ability to work as an effective team member in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience working in a professional work environment
