Responsibilities
As the Healthcare Regulatory Compliance Manager, you'll manage and implement compliance programs, policies, practices and resources.
- Document laws and regulations that might affect the organization's policies and procedures.
- Provide advice and resources to management for compliance issues and process monitoring and improvement, and work with management to implement these improvements.
- Perform on-going risk assessment activities to develop and implement compliance work plans.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of CCIIO, SERFF and CMS.
- Perform compliance investigations originating from internal or external sources, compiling supporting documentation for results and proposed action plans to address potential areas of improvement and/or non-compliance.
- Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
- Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Certification specializing in Healthcare Compliance preferred. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
Additional Preferences:
- 2 to 5 years of CCIIO experience, preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of healthcare experience working with federal filings in SERFF and CMS, preferred.
