About The Role
The Health & Wellness Editor will help to drive growth of Peloton’s owned editorial outlet, The Output, and develop content with specific traffic and engagement KPIs. They will work closely with the SEO team to produce health and wellness content that feeds into the editorial calendar. They will be a subject matter expert on topics including nutrition, sleep, mental wellbeing, meditation, and health and own the end-to-end production of those stories. They will also work closely with the social media team to ensure content is promoted appropriately. This role will report to the Editorial Manager.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

• Assign stories based on SEO research to provide thorough coverage of health and wellness topics relevant to potential Peloton Members
• Monitor performance of owned stories and identify areas for improvement
• Optimize existing content for search
• Source imagery and brief creative to support stories
• Oversee promotion of owned stories on social channels
• Top-edit and manage revision process of health stories using SEO best practices
• Pitch new story ideas based on SEO research, trends, and seasonality
• Recruit and manage new freelance writers that bring unique perspectives to Peloton
• Keep up to date on the latest research and trends in health and wellness
• Build blog posts in CMS
• Write blog posts as needed

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

• Experience working in a CMS
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• 4+ years of experience in an editorial or content management role at a consumer-facing media outlet or brand
• Deep passion and knowledge of health topics
• BA in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
• Unwavering high standards for content accuracy and thoroughness
• Ability to think critically about story angles and trends to provide a thoughtful POV
• Experience using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, or similar
• Advanced knowledge of the essentials of SEO writing
• Proven experience in top-editing and competence in copy editing

Base Salary: $103,200.00 to $134,200.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Our base salary is just one component of Peloton’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
