The company is on the rise with the new era of medicine, with a goal to make healthcare better for everyone. We are hiring the company’s first Chief Strategy Officer to help take the company through to their next stage of growth.

Opportunity– Head of Strategy

• Be able to successfully communicate the strategic plan effectively throughout the company - from junior level team members to the Board of Directors
• Report directly to the CEO and Co-Founder
• Analyze market dynamics, market share changes, product line performance, and competitive intelligence and provide advice and recommendations to the CEO
• Collaborate with the Finance team to develop a capital plan in line with the strategies developed
• Assisting in developing strategic partnerships, connections, and raising funding
• Identify key capital projects, joint ventures, potential M&A targets, and other strategic partnership opportunities
• Drive strategic initiatives and VC funded investments
• Work closely with special committees, consultants, and leadership teams to execute on strategies effectively
• Identify strategic risks and provide recommendations to the CEO
• Collaborate with the executive team and board to develop a strategic plan focused on growth
• Evaluate and refine metrics in place to measure performance
• Evaluate market trends and insights to develop short and long term forecasting
• Analyze product and departmental performance
• Work with leadership to monitor the execution of business initiatives
• Drive innovation and find opportunities to optimize growth and business development

Requirements

• You have great listening skills and great translating skills

• Expertise in using data to build strong reports, stories, and tools to aid the company in making decisions
• Deep expertise in SaaS/startup environments
• Passionately committed to the organization's mission and long-term success
• Experience successfully building relationships with companies that are interested in M&A, partnerships, or VC funding
• Experience operating at Series A /Series B venture-backed SaaS companies, and can demonstrate the success of your strategies in fundraising
• Located in the United States with the ability to travel globally
• Preferable experience in pharma, health-tech or drug discovery fields
• Experience with change management methodology and use it regularly to help guide decisions and company changes
• Previous experience as a leader in strategy development, business development and partnerships
• Experience leading major initiatives or priorities and worn many hats
• You aren’t just a high-level planning person - you can execute on the plans. You don’t require a large team to get things done; you can get your hands dirty and build
• Outstanding market research and analysis skills
• Worked collaboratively with Leadership teams, Executive, and Board of Directors in previous roles
• You value authenticity, honesty, and transparency
