For our growing team in North America, we are seeking a Head of Project Delivery:

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the project delivery team to ensure profitable execution of all BESS projects in portfolio

• Identify and build out the project delivery team including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Contract Managers, etc.

• Develop and implement project management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve project delivery efficiency and effectiveness such that customers become advocates for Trina

• Ensure that all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

• Ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and suppliers

• Provide regular portfolio status updates to senior management and stakeholders

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to improve product and project delivery

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• 20-30% travel

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, Master's degree preferred

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience in delivering BESS profitably

• Proven track record of successfully delivering utility scale BESS projects

• Familiar with technologies such as LFP batteries, BESS containers, Inverters, MV Transformers, Substations, Controls, etc.

• Familiar with contractual terms in utility scale projects

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team

• Excellent skills in planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation

• Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels

• Excellent customer negotiation skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively

• Experience with project management software and tools

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations

• Ability to work within a global framework and a matrix organization

• Excellent working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office365

• Fluent in Chinese a plus
