Key responsibilities for this role will include (but not limited to):

  • Utilize solar industry knowledge and networks to create and maintain key relationships with stakeholders throughout the project and portfolio lifecycle
  • Participate in recruitment and promote an employee referral program, ensure compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures
  • Participate in business development, analyze market and client trends, evaluate project risk/reward potential, and develop a specific project approach
  • Develop business strategies, estimating, and subcontractor and vendor procurement
  • Lead entire GMP/Lump Sum process, participate in pre-construction contractual obligations, and oversee project operations for budget, schedule, and profitability
  • Manage risk following company guidelines, search for new ways to improve operating returns, and resolve claims promptly
  • Maintain visibility with clients and subcontractors, develop effective relationships, and support community organizations and activities.
  • Manage financial administration, establish project goals and objectives, and evaluate project financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, and provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting
  • Monitor compliance with contract documents, review and approve subcontracts’ agreements and change orders, and ensure timely close-out of the project
  • Preserve corporate culture and philosophies, mentor others, promote mission and vision, and encourage employee growth
  • Establish personal professional development plan, maintain licensing, certification, and registrations


Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

  • Bachelor in construction management, engineering, or related discipline as a minimum requirement.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience working as a Senior Project Manager in an EPC with a focus on utility-scale solar projects.
  • Exhibits highly developed project management finance skills as a necessity.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with construction project management applications.
  • Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create Excel trackers, and be able to use Word and Powerpoint for reporting/presentations via teams or in person.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with various stakeholders such as owners' representatives, A/E teams, building departments, and other team members.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.


Salary:

  • $150-185k
