Job Description

The ideal candidate - Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of talent acquisition, employee attraction/retention/engagement, employment compliance, succession planning, change management, employee communications, organization development, performance management, training and development, and total rewards (compensation and benefits).


Responsibilities:

1. Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet human capital needs. Lead efforts to source, screen, and select company talent aligned with company culture.

2. Lead efforts to identify employment risks, mitigate risks, and effectively comply with federal, state, and local employment requirements. Respond to any concerns for internal resolution. Lead efforts to respond to any third-party employment claims and litigation.

3. Prepare for and perform due diligence for company acquisitions concerning employment aspects. Develop and implement integration plans for the acquisitions.

4. Develop competency models that align with the company’s desired culture. Implement competency models throughout the employee lifecycle.

5. Develop and implement employee communication and engagement programs, including company updates, employee surveys, action plans, and regular feedback programs.

6. Function as a management and people advisor regarding organizational and management issues.

7. Develop and implement performance management plans designed to enhance organization, department, and individual performance. Coach managers and supervisors to improve employee performance and recognize and reward good performers.

8. Work with executive management to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.

9. Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective. Administer and maintain employee benefit plans, including healthcare and 401(k).

10. Coordinate and perform activities in support of work authorization and sponsorship.

11. Responsible for securing, maintaining, and fulfilling management reporting requirements for employee data through an HRIS.

12. Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, payroll processing, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.


Qualifications:

· 3- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources

· Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills

· Attention to detail and good judgment

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
