Seeking Head Chef for a drug and alcohol treatment center in Thousand Oaks, Ca.

Responsibilities

Preparing 3 meals a day for up to 10 people. Shifts are 10 hours a day x 4 days a week.

Qualifications:

Culinary expertise: The head chef must have a strong understanding of a variety of culinary techniques, ingredients, and dishes. Chef must be able to work around possible dietary restrictions for certain clients.

Organizational skills: The head chef must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, keeping track of inventory, ordering supplies, and meeting client needs.

Problem solving skills: The head chef must be able to quickly identify and address problems as they arise, resolving issues with staff, equipment, or food quality.

Easy going personality: The head chef should possess an easy-going personality that allows them to remain calm under pressure, work well with others, and maintain a sense of humor during busy and demanding times.
