Job Description
Position Summary:
Position will be responsible for ushering fans to designated seats within loanDepot park while also monitoring fan behavior and needs. They will act as hosts to our guests during their visit to the ballpark. A successful candidate will be attentive to the needs of the guests in their section, while also helping implement rules and procedures set forth by the Marlins.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist the Guest Experience department when needed & other duties assigned
  • Safely & accurately show fans to designated seating
  • Be friendly to all guests
  • Seek out opportunities to talk with guests & get to know our Marlins Members in their respective sections
  • Walk entire section stairs between innings to ensure all guests do not have needs
  • Be prepared to listen to guests & help address any concerns they may have
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Ability to interact with staff clearly, effectively, and professionally, supervisors, contractors, and the public.
  • Must be able to withstand hot and humid temperatures
  • Ability to hear, comprehend and disseminate instructions and vital information especially in the event of emergencies.
  • Ability to work the entire event including pre and post-game activities.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and weekday afternoon games.
  • Ability to handle large crowds while remaining friendly and professional. Will maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Ability to work large scale events.
  • Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb stairs and ramps for the entire event
  • Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
