Our on-call Guest Experience Representatives will work a flexible schedule. No prior experience needed, just your love of trees, plants, and people.

• Want to be a part of a team dedicated to education and guest experience? Orient guests to seasonal attractions, give directions to events and keep the Perennial Playspace, our four-season learning and enrichment space for children, clean and stocked
• Love helping guests? Answer guest services phone calls, return messages & emails, actively welcome guests and orient them to available experiences, amenities, programs, throughout the campus
• Have retail experience? Ring up merchandise transactions, look up merchandise, dust, sweep, stock shelves and create merchandise displays
• Work well in a fast-paced environment where each day is different? Check in HF&G members, greet guests inform guests about the benefits of membership

Position Details

• Work a flexible schedule between 8-24 hours a month, at least 1 weekend shift a month
• Be on a call list for shifts that open throughout the month
• Shifts include weekends, weekdays and evening options that work with your schedule
• Pay $13.00 per hour
• Pick up open shifts that work with your schedule

Preferred Experience In The Following Areas

• Retail experience
• Knowledge and appreciation of gardening and the outdoors
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Strong verbal communication skills and interest in working directly with guests
• Knowledge of Cleveland, OH and surrounding areas
• Customer service experience or desire to learn
• Experience using computers, cash registers and email

Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation

• Effective vision and hearing
• Standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, pulling, pushing, sitting, grabbing and lifting and carrying
• Transporting oneself by foot over a variety of terrain that may be wet, slippery, uneven and/or rocky
• Hand and arm dexterity
