Our Growth Marketing Manager is responsible for managing Hedley & Bennett’s paid media strategy for core customer acquisition channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, Influencer, and TikTok. This role’s essential function is to drive efficient customer acquisition and revenue growth via both highly analytical and creative problem solving. In this role, you can expect to spend time identifying key opportunities for us to improve our marketing effectiveness, developing tests to verify those hypotheses, and working with our creative team to bring those solutions to market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with creative team to drive production of new marketing assets from inception to launch – bringing a constant ‘test & learn’ mindset to every piece of creative we bring to market
- Develop data-driven creative and customer insights / hypotheses to inform future marketing strategy
- Effectively manage and allocate media budget both within and across key acquisition channels on daily basis to drive efficient growth
- Develop analytical frameworks & models for answering key strategic questions (e.g. measuring effectiveness of potential new channels, analyzing performance of non-digital channels, working with our Product team to test potential new products)
- Design and execute experiments to test both systemic and creative hypotheses
- Consistently identify opportunities for systemic media buying improvements (e.g. targeting, structure, channel expansion, channel mix)
- Build / execute launch of new ad creatives within platforms
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Collaborative and communicative team player who enjoys driving and overseeing projects and processes cross-functionally with a wide range of personalities
- 1-3 years of cross-functional experience in an analytical and strategic role; previous work experience in consulting, finance, or growth marketing
- Customer centricity - you're deeply empathetic when it comes to understanding consumer psychology, needs, and behaviors, in order to help ensure we’re “meeting the customer where they’re at”
- “Art & science” mentality – you feel comfortable with both highly analytical decision making, as well as creative, open-ended problem solving. In this role data can answer your questions, but creativity & an eye for marketing is crucial to identify which questions to ask
- With constant improvement mentality – to be most successful in this role, you should be the type of person who is always asking and investigating “what can we do even better?”
