Graphic/Visual Designer

Location: 100% Remote, must source out of: New York City

Pay Rate: Up to $75 depending on experience

Projects you will work on, what will ask you do deliver

• Establish compelling & modern visual language and deliver assets for merchandising new avatar content and promoting new capabilities in product
• Produce inspiring & cohesive internal communication assets such as sizzle reels, presentations, and more
• Bonus: Create visuals to facilitate discussions around overarching design system / art direction with consideration of principles & brand implications

What a week might look like

• Working closely with your Product Design peers, you will establish a brief and a plan for your work
• You will autonomously onboard to different visual and brand systems to understand and extend the product visual languages / styles
• You will frequently check in with your Product Design peers and share progress
• You will manage/present to multiple stakeholder explaining context, strategy, rationale of visual choices and iterate on your work
• You will work solo producing art direction concepts, visual style guidelines and assets pushing craft quality

What skills you will need

• Understanding and extending brand/product visual languages
• Self-organization, ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, manage expectations and meet deadlines
• Great artworking skills for creating 2D digital assets / iconography
• Excellent visual, written and verbal communication/presentation skills
• Prior experience with motion graphics work
• A solid foundation in design, layout, color and typography to art direct or produce digital assets

What qualifications we require

• At least 5 years of digital Graphic/Visual Design experience, preferably in a creative digital agency setting working on digital products
• Expert knowledge of Graphic Design Software (i.e. Adobe Suite - Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop)

We would prefer if you had these skills as well

• Experience working on digital products and/or with Product Designers
• Typeface and or illustration design skills
• Superb visual and conceptual skills to solve problems and create novel solutions
• Experience with animation, motion design and dynamic interactions
