Jr. Graphic Designer Jobs

We are looking for a Jr. Graphic Designer to join our team! You will be responsible for supporting Visual Merchandising and Marketing efforts.

This is a part time position two to three days per week (between M-Th), on-site in our Tribeca showroom.

Our Tribeca store is home to the most extensive collection of Japanese knives in the world, including Japan. But our collection is far more than just knives—we also offer a vast selection of kitchen tools and appliances, exquisitely designed tableware, and the rarest and most covetable sharpening stones. We are proud to be part of New York’s culinary community, and frequently host special events such as knife sharpening demonstrations and parties with the city’s most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptual design work and some templated work following design brand guidelines as needed
• Must have ability to be collaborative with the team, share ideas, and present design ideas/updates etc. internally as needed
• Complete additional tasks/projects as needed
• Design of marketing collateral, including redesigning logos, online ads, social media creative, one-sheeters, etc.
• Design, edit, resize, reshape assets for Korin's website

Qualifications:

• Proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
• U.S Work Authorization (Required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• A willingness to learn and grow with us
• Strong work ethic, highly motivated and positive attitude organization skills and dedication to completing tasks/projects timely

Salary:

$23-25/hour
