Job Description
Since 2011, Bespoke Post has been introducing our customers to small, under-the-radar brands and products through a cross-category e-commerce shop and monthly membership service. From clothing, to camping gear, cookware to barware– our mission is to help our customers cut through all the clutter and find quality gear from small brands that care about their craft.

We're looking for a Graphic Designer to help grow our in-house Private Label Brands across an exciting range of categories including men’s apparel, outdoors, travel, bar, kitchen, home fragrance, decor, grooming, and everyday carry. We need someone with a multidisciplinary background who is comfortable designing for both packaging and print collateral, as well as designing graphics and patterns that are applied to physical products themselves. Additionally, you’ll have an opportunity to collaborate with branding and marketing teams to ensure design consistency across all touchpoints.

You'll report to the Creative Director of Private Labels, and work closely with our private label team which includes industrial and soft goods designers, brand managers, brand creatives, and product developers. You’ll work at our Manhattan office for 3 days per week in a hybrid environment.

You will:

  • Create final art files, CADs, tech packs, and print production spec sheets for our vendors
  • Participate in a thorough review and QA process, implementing revision notes with exceptional attention to detail
  • Work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment to build our fast-growing brands
  • Design for a range of packaging and print collateral needs, such as boxes, hang tags, insert cards, and apparel labels
  • Work out of our New York City office 3+ days per week
  • Support the Creative and Marketing teams with design needs to ensure consistency of our Private Label brands across all touchpoints
  • Design textile patterns and graphic elements to apply to products such as towels, pools, water bottles, bags, leather goods, and apparel
  • Review and approve colors, print proofs, samples, and prototypes
  • Research trends within product categories, create mood boards, develop color stories, and conceptualize design themes for each of our brand's seasonal collections
  • Partner with Creative Director and Brand Managers to develop and standardize design guidelines for our brands
The ideal candidate:

  • Has a “no task is beneath me” attitude and is excited to wear different hats
  • Has a genuine love for product design and gets excited about discovering and helping develop new products
  • Has exceptional attention to detail and well-organized project management skills, and can juggle between multiple projects
  • Enjoys innovating and is able to think outside the box, while also being scrappy and creative about how to work within tight production budget parameters
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills and is able to collaborate with a diverse range of team members in a hybrid environment
  • Has 1+ years of professional design experience for consumer brands
  • Has a modern and elevated design aesthetic, and can design in various styles for different brands
  • Has extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for sketching and mocking up designs, including Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Is experienced in the print production process, and familiar with different techniques, materials, and fabrications
Bonus points for:

  • Experience with textile and pattern design
  • Great understanding of different paper types, box constructions, and printing techniques
  • Experience designing for a male audience
  • Experience creating CADs and tech packs for products
Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:

  • Regular team learning, social, and wellness events
  • Annual bonus
  • A free Bespoke Post box each month, plus additional discounts
  • Up to $500 per year learning allowance
  • Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance with FSA options and access to One Medical, Health Advocate, Teladoc, and Talkspace
  • Unlimited vacation time
  • Starting base salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 per year
  • $250 per month home office allowance
  • 401k with nonelective company contribution of 3%
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible schedule
  • Company equity
  • Up to $500 annual 1:1 donation match
We are proud to uphold an environment free of discrimination. Bespoke Post is an equal opportunity workplace and we recognize that our success is dependent on having an inclusive, collaborative team that is as diverse as, if not more than, the products we ship.
