Position Overview
Work as productive member of an established group of creative thinkers and makers at one of the world’s leading lifestyle companies. Support the Head of Brand Creative and Art Director in the delivery of compelling 360° campaigns for Ralph Lauren Home at the in-house advertising agency. This role is based around the inception, production and execution of marketing and advertising communications that live across multiple platforms and channels globally.
The position reports to Head of Brand Creative and will touch all communication channels including but (not limited to) digital & print advertising, cross platform video and social media.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to support on-set art direction on straightforward shoots a plus
- Produce new concepts and provide creative input
- Create layouts ready for print, social posting, graphics support in video, etc.
- Build and innovate on design while adhering to the Ralph Lauren brand standards and established “look” (print, web, etc).
- Develop consistent visual voice across all materials
- Manage retouching to a high standard and taste level
- Support video ideation
- Work closely with Print Production, especially regarding pre and post production issues
- Collaborate with internal / external clients and project managers to discuss business objectives and requirements of a specific job. Develop strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Project Managers, Copywriters, Design, etc.
- Proofread to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Partner with Head of Brand Creative and Art Director to create a range of brand content and campaign deliverables
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Adaptive design eye and skill
- Some experience with Ai (Illustrator)
- Strong interest in the Home décor industry. Sophisticated grasp of elements of home style: architecture, authenticity, regional flavor, etc.
- Skilled at developing presentation and concept decks
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic / Art Design or related discipline
- Ability to effectively communicate with business partners at all levels
- Advanced knowledge experience, preferably including involvement in luxury Home advertising. Fashion also a plus.
- Strong attention to detail when finalizing designs
- Strong photo research and editing talent for utilizing internal image archive (RL Library) and outside resources.
- Excellent understanding of typography
- Strong time management and ability to multitask
- Interested in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong Photoshop, InDesign and Keynote skills; working knowledge of other current design applications
