Graphic Designer - Hostrooster (Fully Remote)

Job Purpose:

HostRooster, a renowned freelance marketplace, is on the lookout for a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer to join our in-house team. As a Graphic Designer at HostRooster, your primary purpose will be to create visually engaging and compelling designs for various marketing materials, ensuring a consistent and memorable brand identity across all channels. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to create visually appealing and impactful designs for marketing materials, including social media graphics, banners, promotional materials, and other brand assets.
2. Develop and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across all elements of the brand.
3. Create design concepts, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and proposals.
4. Optimize graphic designs for various platforms and devices, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
5. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, continuously striving for improvement and innovation.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest graphic design trends, techniques, and tools to maintain a competitive edge and contribute to the platform's growth.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues promptly, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.

Required Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a product-centric environment.
3. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
4. A strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and graphic design trends.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and ideas.
6. A strong portfolio showcasing your graphic design skills and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working in a remote environment and collaborating with distributed teams.
2. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
3. Familiarity with web accessibility standards and best practices.
4. Experience in designing for a freelance marketplace or similar platform
