ABOUT THIS ROLE

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the largest resource for business and personal coaches, representing more than 50,000 members and 50,000 credential holders. ICF supports and preserves the integrity of coaching through standards supported by the individual membership.

We are seeking a Global Operations Coordinator to join the ICF Professional Coaches (PC) team. The Global Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing compliance functions, and developing and executing comprehensive training programs and resources for the ICF chapter network. This individual will focus on implementing compliance programs, as well as enhance the knowledge and capabilities of chapter officers through effective training methodologies while staying current with industry trends. The ideal candidate for this position will be located in the Americas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitating and delivering training sessions effectively to chapter officers to create a participative learning environment
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs for the ICF chapter network, aligning them with association management best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with latest training trends, technologies, and best practices and incorporate innovative approaches and learning techniques to enhance the overall training experience
  • Manage existing chapter and member compliance activities and review annually to ensure relevance
  • Collaborate with various departments and chapter teams to ensure a One ICF experience for our stakeholders
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics and continuously improve training materials and methodologies based on feedback and results
  • Facilitate communication of the policies effectively to chapter officers and ensure their understanding and adherence
  • Investigate incidents of non-compliance within chapters and work with appropriate teams to implement corrective measures
  • Develop, design and maintain training toolkits, including multi-media resources and templates for chapter officers
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to create and update compliance policies and procedures specific to ICF chapter operations
  • Foster a culture of compliance and integrity by promoting open communication and collaboration
  • Collaborates with the PC team to maximize effectiveness of ICF’s chapter volunteer leadership and ensure compliance among chapters
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Utilize existing technology tools to streamline compliance processes, data management and reporting; identify new technologies to help improve internal operations
Requirements:

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with various training methods and tools, both traditional and modern
  • Technologically proficient in office hardware and software
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to identify and address challenges proactively
  • Professional association management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Initiative with a high sense of responsibility and autonomy
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Travel as needed
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends
  • Proven experience in training program design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • General proficiency at Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and other relevant presentation tools
  • Excels at working with a globally diverse network
  • Global and inclusive mindset
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, project management, and time management skills
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
