Job Purpose and Impact


The Global Customer and Consumer Insights Associate Director (Global Customer-Back Insights Lead) will be part of the Commercial Excellence Global Insights COE team and will have direct contact with insights teams across enterprises and regions, as well as key cross-functional leaders across the business.


With the ambition to advance insights capabilities across the organization and making Insights a strategic business partner, in this role you will provide strategic leadership and guidance on the Customer-back capability development through the appropriate programs and measurement tools such as customer satisfaction/experience, customer journey, customer segmentation and customer/consumer empathy. All these while ensuring a collaborative, value added partnerships with key stakeholders at the enterprises/business groups.


Key Accountabilities


  • Deep knowledge of leading-edge research tools, methodologies, suppliers, and industry best practices. Knows what great looks like.
  • Effectively analyze and synthesize multiple sources to distill insights in a way that's simple and clear for the organization to action.
  • Influence and effectively communicate findings through effective storytelling.
  • Be customer/consumer first. Participate, lead, and influence team discussions by bringing the voice of customers and consumers to them and advocating for insights-driven decision making.
  • Lead and manage large complex projects and connect the dots.
  • Anticipate the future, inspire with vision, and impact the organization by providing relevant thought leadership.


Qualifications


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • People management - Experience leading and coaching a team.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience in a Consumer, Customer or Market Insights role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Market Research field or similar.
  • Fluent in English is a must.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Ideal to have minimum 15 years of related work experience in a Consumer, Customer or Market Insights role.
  • Expert-level understanding of commercial strategy, marketing strategy, and innovation, and how those functions connect with insights strategies.
  • Business-to-business experience in the food industry.
  • Worked in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders, preferably in a global role.
  • Ability to work in an international culture and be adaptative to different working styles.
  • Significant experience leading large, global insights programs with tangible business impact. Direct expertise in leading Customer Satisfaction/Experience roles is highly desired.
