ABOUT US:


HGreg is one of the fastest growing automotive groups in North America. Founded in 1993, HGreg operates 31 new and used dealerships throughout the United States and Canada, and plans to continue expansion in the U.S.


SUMMARY:


A General Sales Manager is in charge of overseeing the entire operations of the business while also raising productivity and departmental profitability. They are in charge of managing a number of aspects of a firm, such as employing personnel, maintaining facility to company standards, oversight of recon budget of inventory and conditioning quality of inventory.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Give answers to problems (such as declining profits, employee conflicts, and business loss to competitors).
  • Create a plan and define growth objectives.
  • Make sure personnel adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Control the employee evaluation process
  • Ensure compliance with Licensing bureau, local and government agencies.
  • Oversight of property & facility maintenance
  • Specify procedures and policies.
  • Control the hiring and training of new hires
  • Analyze and enhance business and financial performance.
  • Create routine reports for management
  • Oversee daily activities
  • Make sure personnel are productive and advance professionally
  • Keep to budgets and cut costs whenever possible
SCHEDULE:

  • 8-hour shift including weekends
  • 2 days off/week


EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
  • Business-related BSc/BA; an MSc/MA is preferred.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Knowledge of automotive processes and activities (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.) Proven expertise in planning and budgeting as a general manager or other similar senior position
  • 5 years of Dealership General Management experience
  • Superior communication abilities
  • Powerful analytical skills
  • Excellent planning and management abilities


LICENSE:


Must maintain a valid in-state Driver’s License and be considered insurable with the dealerships insurance policy.
