Fund Controller, Real Estate

A real estate asset manager is in search of a Fund Controller to manage fund-level financial reporting and accounting. You’ll design and roll out new information systems alongside enhancing existing ones, streamline financial processes, and amplify reporting efficiencies.

In addition, you’ll oversee the Fund Administrators and work closely across Finance and Investor Relations to analyze their growing portfolio and ensure seamless distributions back to their international investors. Over time, you'll help hire and manage an Assistant Fund Controller.

The company has experienced significant amounts of growth over the past year, cultivates a culture of cooperation, and promotes upward mobility. Note this opportunity requires you to work a minimum of 2 days a week out of their Hoboken, NJ office location.

Desired Experience:

• Team management/hiring experience
• Minimum 10 years of public/private financial management experience including private equity real estate and Big 4-audit
• CPA or desire to obtain a CPA license preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, and their proper application within the real estate and private equity industries
