Fund Controller Analyst Jobs

Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Navatar for Salesforce would be advantageous.

Manage all accounting processes related to investment acquisitions, disposals, and other transactions, ensuring that financial records are meticulously kept.

Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or CFA are strongly preferred, enhancing the candidates standing for this role.

The candidate should exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset to navigate complex financial landscapes effectively.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for both the firms primary funds and its co-investment entities.

Generate detailed quarterly financial statements that address both the fiscal performance of the funds and the relevant disclosures for investors.

Assist with investor processing activities for commingled funds including data entry, data quality checks and statement preparation.

Four-year college degree required with a concentration in finance/accounting or related business field

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in financial services industry

Real estate investment knowledge preferred

Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent PC skills including experience with the Microsoft Office application suite.

Knowledge and experience in private debt, private equity or hedge funds

Knowledge of annual fund audits and financial statements under U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards with external auditors and third-party administrators

Facilitate and/or manage related components of broader projects

Experience interacting with senior management

Work closely with asset management team to maintain fund models

3 to 7 years of total experience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Real estate private equity fund or similar fund accounting knowledge

Help establish accounting and reporting policies and procedures for a series of real estate PE funds

Minimum 10 years of public/private financial management experience including private equity real estate and Big 4-audit

Strong knowledge of GAAP, and their proper application within the real estate and private equity industries

CPA or desire to obtain a CPA license preferred

Calculation of management fees & other fees on closed ended fund structures.

Previous experience evaluating process controls, procedures, and flows Excellent communication skills including the ability to synthesize and see the big picture

3-5 years relevant fund accounting/audit work experience

Previous PE Style and Hedge Fund experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and effective organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel
