Primary Duties
- Professional communication with health plans and therapists.
- Adhere to all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Flexibility within the department, performing other administrative duties as needed.
- Provide administrative support to internal and external parties.
- Assist health plans/clients and therapists with coordination of Periscope services.
- Identify problems with data quality and communicate issues with staff and supervisor.
- Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries in a timely manner.
- Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Accurate documentation of communications within a record.
- Review and interpret medical documents and verify information.
Required Skills
- Desire to continuously learn and grow with an evolving company.
- Capability to carry out instruction furnished via phone, email or portal system.
- Secure home-based work area with High Speed Internet and computer access.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
- Proficiency in some basic medical terminology.
- Proficiency with technology, experience with Microsoft Office 365 and willingness to learn new programs.
- 3 - 5 years experience with computer data entry and database management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Possess effective organizational skills with attention to detail, including working with multiple projects simultaneously.
