Full time Remote Client Services Specialist


  • Schedule: M-F, Weekends and Holidays as scheduled
  • Class: Non-exempt, hourly, full time
  • Reports to: Director of Client Services
  • Central Time Zone preferred

This is your opportunity to join Periscope, as a Client Services Specialist. The ideal candidate will have excellent custom services skills, with energetic, friendly and professional demeanor serving as the face of Periscope! Must have comfort learning and using technology. Must enjoy working independently as well as within a team. Looking for someone with great organizational skills, that is detail oriented with the flexibility to meet the needs of the company.

Primary Duties


  • Assist health plans/clients and therapists with coordination of Periscope services.
  • Accurate documentation of communications within a record.
  • Flexibility within the department, performing other administrative duties as needed.
  • Professional communication with health plans and therapists.
  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Review and interpret medical documents and verify information.
  • Identify problems with data quality and communicate issues with staff and supervisor.
  • Provide administrative support to internal and external parties.
  • Must safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality by following the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security Rules of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).


Required Skills


  • Desire to continuously learn and grow with an evolving company.
  • Secure home-based work area with High Speed Internet and computer access.
  • 3 - 5 years experience with computer data entry and database management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in some basic medical terminology.
  • Capability to carry out instruction furnished via phone, email or portal system.
  • Proficiency with technology, experience with Microsoft Office 365 and willingness to learn new programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Possess effective organizational skills with attention to detail, including working with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
