Assistant Manager:With personality driven style of service we love to provide magical moments for our guests. We are currently looking for an experienced, passionate, & loyal employee to join our growing & inspired cookery. The assistant manager will work with the general manager & owner to supervise 2-4 shifts per week, & assist where needed in various front of house roles, such as running, serving, or bartending if that's what you like. The assistant manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the inner workings of the restaurant & will spend time on the floor during allocated shifts to manage service & customer experience by touching tables & creating regulars out of everyone who walks through the door. Supervisory shifts begin around 2:30pm & end around 11:00pm depending on the night.

What We Expect From You

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the restaurant's menus, its products and their source, and the details of the restaurant and region.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• To ensure the dining room is ready for service by performing pre-opening quality checks (dining room, service stations, interior and exterior checks)
• Build on extensive service standards and hospitality documents and checklists for our team - supporting & coaching our staff
• Reservation & guest management & actively managing "the books" to ensure the success of our reservation program
• Tech savvy with strong computer & technology skills
• Drive FOH service including greeting guests, running food, conducting multiple table checks, monitoring guest flow, etc
• Day to day office & clerical duties
• To open & close the restaurant on certain shifts
• Eager to grow & learn - we are also interested in things you would like to learn about or take on in a collaborative way as we are focused on continuous improvements
• Effective communication & team work - you need to be able to work with all service staff while communicating with the kitchen & guests
• Basic financial & accounting skills
• Detailed & clean - you have an eye for detail and love operating a clean space
• At least three years of FOH restaurant experience, in a high-volume setting preferred
• To maintain a clean & organized facility, including side work sheets
• To stay current & creative with hospitality trends
• Full-time or part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Strong organizational & prioritization skills
• Be a professional: remain composed - you are at the center of the restaurant & “on stage” at all times
• Strong hospitality skills & an upbeat personality - lead by example
• Be able to troubleshoot service issues
• Social media marketing basics, including daily postings & photography
