This is a rapidly expanding wealth management organization, specializing in serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients across the globe, is in search of a dynamic Finance Controller. The successful candidate will oversee the firm's accounting functions, including regular financial reports, accounting records maintenance, and comprehensive controls and budgets. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to management decisions and influence long-term strategic planning.

We are seeking a proactive individual who possesses strong attention to detail, superior organization skills, and a results-driven, deadline-focused approach. Candidates should ideally have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field.

Primary Responsibilities:

Client Billing and Bookkeeping:

• Prepare key financial statements including balance sheet, profit and loss, and other relevant reports
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare trial balance, and perform reconciliation entries
• Oversee the preparation of client billings
• Handle accounts payable and receivable

Managerial Accounting:

• Execute payroll functions including computer processing, printing checks, and verification of the final product
• Assist with the annual audit, including the preparation of financial statements and providing necessary information for auditors
• Develop and update long-term financial projections
• Oversee subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving any discrepancies

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Addepar Reporting System would be beneficial
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Previous experience in a financial services firm is advantageous
• CPA certification is desirable
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
