Job Description

⚡Controller

🏥Pediatric Care

💶$160k-$180k base

🌐Boston (Hybrid)


Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory agencies.
  • Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
  • Process and maintain account receivables.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow.
  • Prepare and file tax returns and sales tax returns.
  • Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation.
  • Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
  • Provide financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.
  • Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action.
  • Review and prepare financial statements for accuracy and GAAP compliance.
  • Help develop and support short and long-term operational strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for external auditors.



Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance required
  • At least five years' experience in accounting or a related field
