Financial Reporting Analyst Jobs

Our client is an established exploration and production corporation located in The Woodlands. This Financial Reporting position will report directly to the corporate controller and be given opportunities for growth and challenge. This is a dual role of financial reporting and senior accountant. Previous experience in oil and gas and public accounting would be ideal. Previous experience filing corporate 10K and 10Q is a requirement.

Work on-site, but get off every Friday at noon.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the US Holding Companies in compliance to US GAAP
• Review and post journal entries
• Preparing technical accounting memos when needed to support accounting treatment to US GAAP
• Reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results in compliance to US GAAP
• Consolidating entities into the US GAAP financial statements and coordinating the US GAAP process
• Reporting entities financial activities under US GAAP
• Audit or review financial statements, coordinating with external auditors as necessary
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain confidentiality of our financial data
• Preparing lead schedules to support quarterly and annual US GAAP financial audit reviews by the external audit team
• Prepare financial reports and file them with the SEC

• Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and the following minimum relevant experience for each level:
• Advanced Excel skills
• Must be driven and self-motivated
• Workiva would be helpful
• Excellent follow-through
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality
