Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEC/Financial Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and filing financial reports in compliance with SEC regulations. You will also be responsible for preparing footnotes and disclosures and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. This position requires an in-depth understanding of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles and experience working with Workiva.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare footnotes and disclosures for financial statements
• Prepare and file SEC reports, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data
• Participate in the annual audit process and work with external auditors
• Prepare and maintain XBRL tagging for financial statements
• Implement and maintain financial reporting processes and controls
• Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances

Qualifications

• Experience with SEC filings and Workiva
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Previously Employed with any/either of the following KPMG, EY, Ernst & Young, Deloitte, PwC, Pricewaterhouse, Grant Thornton, GT, Marcum, and RSM is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPA certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting
