Description & Requirements
Position Summary
The Finance Director- M&A leads the execution of various inorganic opportunities (acquisitions- divestitures- joint ventures and/or other inorganic opportunities) by partnering throughout the Kraft Heinz organization and with external advisors to lead transactions from inception to completion. The position requires the ability and maturity to properly handle highly confidential information. This role also involves leading and providing support for the execution of active and prospective M&A projects.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Partnering with the appropriate business units and other internal stakeholders to guide a transaction from identification to completion.
  • Manage and deliver project communications to the internal project team- senior leadership- and external parties when appropriate.
  • Working with business units to build business case- financial model and conduct valuation analyses.
  • Manage anti-trust or other regulatory requirements in support of legal experts.
  • Pipeline building and idea generation including screening- researching potential investment opportunities- and working with relevant business units to construct evaluation frameworks for potential M&A targets.
  • Lead the due diligence process- including the coordination of large teams of internal partners and external advisors.
Qualifications
  • Ideally- experience in or knowledge of the M&A environment and the categories in which Kraft Heinz operates
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong financial acumen and corporate finance knowledge
  • Strong financial modeling skills ability to build valuation models and understand valuation inputs
  • Individual must be a self-starter with high energy- proactive approach- and strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a highly active- fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Corporate Development or M&A at other similar firms in industry- investment banks- strategy- or accounting firms. MBA preferred
