Field Marketing Coordinator (Tn, Chattanooga)

Five Star Food Service, a premier away-from-home convenience services provider, is in search of a marketer that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, growth-focused work environment. The successful candidate will coordinate the execution of corporate sales, brand marketing, and revenue growth initiatives at the field or local branch level.

Essential Functions

• Support and conduct field-based surveys to gather consumer feedback and report findings
• Support customer service and branch operations team in new location grand openings and other events
• Assist with marketing related activities for integration of acquired companies
• Identify and champion opportunities from the field to grow new business and/or same store sales
• Support department needs for field-based content creation via photography and/or videography
• Coordinate the execution and activation of field-level, corporate marketing-driven projects
• Provide marketing support for field sales, operations, and customer service teams for all locations
• Day-to-day liaison between cross-functional teams of corporate marketing and field-based operations
• Support sales team during product/service demos and other local sales activation efforts
• Collaborate with local operations management teams to support local marketing and brand building efforts such as involvement in and sponsorship of worthwhile community events, tradeshows, etc.
• Additional related duties, responsibilities, and projects are subject to assignment
• Identify field-based market insights and opportunities for local brand awareness growth
• Coordinate planning and execution of internal and external events including company charity

Preferred Qualifications, Education, Experience, & Traits

• Strong Microsoft Office program skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and complete on deadline per spec
• High levels of self-directedness, determination, persistence, and optimism
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field (i.e. Marketing, Business, Communications)
• Strong interpersonal skill set including proficient verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening skills and a passion for customer service
• Ability to foster teamwork and a culture of respect
• Ability to be proactive and take initiative with limited need for guidance on projects
• Must have a valid drivers’ license in state of permanent residence, a vehicle in-good repair for travel, and an active insurance policy covering any personal vehicle(s) used for travel for business purposes
• 1 or more year(s) marketing and/or project management experience (preferred)
