Job Description

Facilities Coordinator
Fort Lauderdale, FL
$55K + Benefits
Responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of assigned areas, upkeep, and ensures the buildings services meet workers needs.
 Complete the daily checklist and coordinate with cleaning crew for the building upkeep in relation to the daily maintenance to ensure Showroom presentation is immaculate.
 Daily walk through of galley and restrooms to make sure that cleaning service has been performed and supplies have been replenished.
 When necessary, empties trash bins, and ensures upkeep of dumpster and hazardous waste area.
 Able to safely perform tasks wearing proper safety gear. i.e., harnesses, clothing, gloves, goggles, safety glasses, etc.
 Reports any accidents immediately to supervisor and or HR.
 Reports any equipment failures or damages immediately to supervisor.
 Evaluate work and suggest changes as needed to improve and complete responsibilities.
 Operates cleaning equipment including pressure washer, cleaning tools and general custodial equipment.
 Safely operate a motor vehicle
 Knowledgeable in the use of tools and equipment required for building maintenance (i.e., hammers, wrenches, drills, pliers, paint brushes, floor buffer and other equipment)
 Requires use of cleaning materials/chemicals/soaps/solvents/deodorizers and insecticide.
 Moves, repairs, and assembles miscellaneous office equipment and furniture. Sets up and takes
down equipment for meetings and other activities upon request.
 Deploy flood prevention drill to minimize potential damage to Showroom. i.e., sandbags, boom dams, squeegee, mops as necessary.
 Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
 High School/GED required
 1-2 years of maintenance experience
