Job Description
FACILITIES ASSISTANT - F/T - Excellent Benefits
This position is key in the daily maintenance and upkeep of a beautiful mfg facility in Carpinteria, CA. Ideal candidate will have experience with both building/facility/janitorial maintenance, as well as production equipment operation and upkeep.
Daily Tasks Include
  • Janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, cleaning, emptying trash etc.
  • Inspection, maintenance and repairs to landscape and landscape equipment including maintaining the water feature and grounds lighting system.
  • Inspection, maintenance, repairs to factory and production equipment; Includes new installations, preventive/predictive maintenance, repairs to production and production support equipment.
  • Inspection, maintenance, and repairs to facility equipment and buildings including cleaning, painting, plumbing, electrical, drywall etc.
  • Daily setup and breakdown of facility equipment, patio furniture, flags, coffee and other employee supplies.
Looking for a standout candidate who works with a sense of urgency, can pivot with priorities, takes initiative and communicates well with everyone. This is a Day Shift, Mon-Friday, Temp-to-Hire, with excellent benefits and bonuses, along with transportation/carpool mileage reimbursement. Starting pay range $19/hr+-, with weekly bonuses when hire direct.
