Description of Position
Note: this is not a digital/video/broadcast production role. We are looking for Event Producers with an EXPERIENTIAL background.
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, NYC-based Experiential Event Producer who wants a home, a chance to grow and to help us grow.We’re a small but mighty agency that work on exciting projects throughout the country with media, sports & luxury brands. Our productions range from TV premieres, press events, consumer activations, live shows, fan events and festivals and you will have a chance to work on all.The ideal candidate will have experience activating within the sports industry and has a deep understanding of sports culture and fan engagement.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Manage load-ins and load-outs at events; coordinate onsite logistics
- Onsite management of events
- Collaboration with the creative team from ideation to creative approvals & execution
- Creative input on trends, ideas and vendors that can be incorporated into events
- Oversee all documentation for event success: production schedules, contact sheets, inventory docs, etc.
- Budget tracking
- Management of project & support team
- Permit procurement
- Vendor sourcing, negotiation & coordination
- Venue & market scouting and management
Requirements - Please do not apply unless you truly meet the requirements below.
- Strong understanding of sports marketing and activations
- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Event Industry
- Team player: we are a small, cohesive team. You need to be comfortable managing a meeting as well as lifting boxes onsite
- Manage high-stress environments well
- Willingness to travel; many of our events are in key markets across the country
- Experience producing (not supporting) large productions for well-known brands/companies
- Position is currently a combination of remote work and onsite work.
- Solution-oriented; relishes challenges, handles pressure well and can think on their feet and stay calm
- Service-industry oriented. Making the clients happy & the event a success is the top priority
- Comfortable and capable managing clients with a hospitality-like focus
- Flexibility to work late and on weekends as needed
- Strong written & verbal skills
- Highly organized; you will be working on multiple projects at once
- Must live in the NYC area: hybrid in-office/remote position
- Familiarity with permits required for events, including Special Event, TPA, DOB, working with various City-departments, etc.
We offer competitive compensation plus benefits and a flexible work policy. References Required.
Compensation commensurate with experience: $90,000 - $120,000
