  • Collects and reviews syllabi to ensure compliance with standards
  • Supports the directors and managers with orientation preparation, student advisement regarding program requirements, and providing basic information about financial aid and registration

The Office of Experiential Education seeks a student-centered professional to serve as its academic program coordinator to assist with the promotion and implementation of several University-wide and College-wide student experiential learning programs at Queens College. Reporting to the Experiential Education Director, duties for the position include but are not limited to: + Serving as a resource for students, staff and faculty regarding program policies and procedures in experiential learning programming. + Providing basic operational and analytical support related to the college's Experiential Education office and programming. + Assisting the director and staff with internship recruitment, selection, on-boarding and advisement regarding program requirements, and providing basic information for prospective applicants. + Collecting program applications and ensureing compliance with required standards. + Performing multiple administrative duties, such as maintaining internship records, including student files, maintaining statistical data on program activities, and preparing reports and surveys. + Serving as liaison to various College offices and external community partners to support internship placement and service delivery. + Monitoring internship placements and addressing student and/or partner concerns. + Referring students to appropriate support services as needed. + Coordinating and facilitating workshops for students and partners pertaining to program requirements/policies and professional development. + Maintaining and updating departmental social media. + Updating and tracking budget expenditures and supervising office operations as needed. **QUALIFICATIONS** Bachelor's Degree required **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience working in higher education and student support services. + Experience in implementing experiential learning opportunities and working with community partners. + Knowledge of student information systems. **CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW** Provides basic operational and analytical support related to a College's specialized academic program.
