Associate Producer - CNE
Overview:
Conde Nast Entertainment is seeking an Associate Producer to join our dynamic, fast-paced creative team. In this role the Associate Producer will work closely with our creative production team, including Coordinating Producers, Creative Producers, Video Directors, and Senior Producers on all video productions. The Associate Producer is a critical role providing general support across all aspects of pre-production, post-production and any on-set responsibilities during shoots. This role reports into the Director of Content Production / Supervising Producer or Executive Producer, depending on the brand collection.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Must be able to create call sheets and assist with casting requests when coordinating with the Casting and Talent Development team.
  • This individual is a “utility player” for the creative production team, and must thoroughly capture notes and track continuity issues during pre production, production, and post production, while also supporting the production crew with load-in/strike.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time while working under tight deadlines with limited resources.
  • Will assist with Fair Use agreements, contracts and releases for Production Management to review and approve.
  • Must be capable of project tracking and scheduling, and flag issues with deadlines.
  • Provide side-by-side assistance in all aspects of production.
  • Heavily involved in pre-production and post-production process. Connecting all the dots along the way.
  • Partner with creative team members, production vendors and other departments to ideate, brainstorm, and develop creative solutions around various programming initiatives.
  • Display knowledge and thoroughness during the post production process and effectively collaborate with the Post Production team with the following, but not limited to: music research, stills/images, clips, any and all assets required for post production processes.
  • Responsible for preparing all shoots, location pick ups, returns, props and crafty.
  • Dedicated to a specific brand collection, but may have the opportunity to support cross-brand productions, as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively across the creative production team and with Digital Video English programming and development teams.
  • Coordinate production logistics to ensure all needs and gear requirements are met before the shoot date.
  • Must be detail oriented on-site and work alongside the creative production team capturing all necessary information, b-roll shots, props shots, artwork or Fair-Use shots during shoots, as well as script notes and shot lists.
  • Ensure excellent research and ideating is conducted for approved concepts.
  • Builds preliminary budgets with the assistance/supervision of Production Management.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience producing and developing digital videos across various platforms. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Understanding of production and post-production workflow.
  • Must exhibit strong written and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to work closely with internal and external producers.
  • Experience managing a slate of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to hit hard deadlines and demonstrate a growth and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Must be a good communicator and always a solution-oriented adult in the room.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $58,500 - $70,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
