Jung Lee NY is seeking experienced Sales Associates to join our growing NYC based team. Located in Manhattan’s rapidly rising NoMad neighborhood, our concept store is under the creative direction of Jung Lee and offers premium brands (think Hermes and Versace) to one-of-a-kind finds from around the world. The store is also home to our wedding registry business, Slowdance, and a go-to source for many interior designers and creatives alike. The Sales Associate position is customer-facing and the ideal candidate is great at building relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
Assist in all areas of our rapidly expanding business, with a focus on sales, customer service, building
relationships and our Interior Designer network.
- Assisting operationally as need (for example: floor moves, inventory, prices changes, etc)
- Exhibit interest and curiosity for the home decor & tabletop market and be familiar with trends in the industry.
- Sales and support for Interior Designer business - outreach, networking, selling
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner (over support email & phone)
- Primary point of contact for JLNY customers and interior designers as it relates to sales and customer service
- Assist in maintaining a pristine selling environment in the store
- Cultivate relationships with clients and focus on the retention of customers
- Know the products you are selling - attend product knowledge training with vendors, understand the brands, collections and how they are produced, the stories of how they were created.
- Meet sales goals as assigned by the leadership team
- Utilize the available resources to provide answers to customers (store manager, Shopify, operations manager, etc)
- Greet and assist customers in person, online and over the phone and convert to sales
- Learn the wedding registry business and assist with Slowdance Wedding Registry sales functions as needed to support the team
- Track client communication in our CRM, provide diligent follow ups

- Skilled at Selling and Clienteling
- Knowledge of Shopify, comfortable with technology, use of Google suite for email, documents,
- Professional & friendly verbal and written communication skills
